[That sounds ... more than mildly distressed.]

I need your help! I might've made a huge mistake!

[The first thing she notices is that something is shaking. The vibration isn't very big, so it's not an earthquake or a security breach... ah, is it her phone, then? Reaching a hand out from under the covers, it takes two blind swats onto the side table before she finds glass, and it's at her ear quickly enough. Her voice is thick, and the words are slow, but as soon as Maya starts to speak her tone starts to get through the haze. The rustle of fabric might reach through the phone as Alicia starts to get up.]

Maya...? What's... what's wrong?

[If she were in the state of mind to notice such things, this is probably the least guarded Alicia has ever sounded where Maya could hear her.]
